Business travelers have officially spoken, and not all airports are created equal.

Corporate Traveler just dropped its Business Travel Airport Guide, a new report ranking the best airports in the U.S. and around the world based on what actually matters when you’re flying for work. Think efficiency, dining, lounges, accessibility, and how quickly you can get in and out without losing your sanity.

The guide pulls insights from 100 Corporate Traveler travel managers who book and manage trips daily, giving the rankings a boots-on-the-ground perspective rather than a glossy brochure feel.

When it comes to overall business travel in the U.S., Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport came out on top, earning the most votes thanks to its balance of efficiency, convenience, dining, and connectivity. It was followed by New York’s LaGuardia, Chicago O’Hare, Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental, with Boston Logan, Denver International, and LAX tied close behind.

Internationally, Singapore Changi Airport took the crown, reinforcing its long-standing reputation as one of the most traveler-friendly airports in the world. Amsterdam Schiphol and London Heathrow followed, with Dubai International and Frankfurt Airport rounding out the top tier.

Efficiency remains king. Nearly half of respondents (49.1%) said fast and smooth security screening is the single most important airport amenity. Quality lounges and reliable Wi-Fi came next, while flight delays and long security lines topped the list of biggest travel frustrations.

Some other standout rankings from the report:

  • Most Efficient U.S. Airport: Boston Logan
  • Best U.S. Airport for Dining: Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport
  • Best U.S. Airport for Lounges: LAX
  • Fastest-Improving U.S. Airport: LaGuardia
  • Fastest International Customs: London Heathrow

The takeaway is simple: for business travelers, airports aren’t just transit points anymore. They’re part of the workday. And choosing the right one can mean the difference between a smooth trip and a logistical nightmare.
