TikTok has been the source for many odd flavor combos (remember last year’s mustard and watermelon run?), with one of the latest ones being Oreos and pickle juice. Whether you’re team yuck or team yum of that trend, the fervent reactions caused an immediate buzz around it.
Now, an ice cream shop in Fort Worth, Texas called Melt, is taking the wave of that trend to another level by creating a Pickle Cookie Crush ice cream flavor in collaboration with another Texas local favorite, Best Maid Pickles.
The limited edition collab is an unexpected harmony of cookies & cream ice cream with a jolt of pickle juice, creating a sweet, salty and tangy flavor experience.
Is it worth a try or would you keep it moving? On paper, the flavor combination is intriguing. But then again, I’m somebody who would be down to try McDonald’s Cilantro Sundae in China.
